About Me

I'm Emma and in 2019 I was at rock bottom. My partner was planning to leave me and my kids (13 and 17) thought I was a complete loser. I'd tragically lost my best friend in a incident in Spain and sought comfort in white wine and my existing habit spiralled. I tried to convince myself I was in control because I only drank at the weekend. I would drag myself out of bed on Monday for the school run, then crawl back, cancel all plans, and listen to my heartbeat in my ears. I would then try and cram everything into 3 days before it all started again. I was sick of living a part-time week.

Until one day I decided enough is enough.

Without telling anyone I had my very first hypnotherapy session and from then onwards my life began to change. I stopped drinking. Fast forward to today, I have switched from a corporate career and trained with one of the best hypnotherapists in the UK. I am enjoying this work more than anything else I've ever done before. Your freedom is my freedom. Emma x

What MY CLIENTS SAY

Rachel

Well it's been a year today since our session! You helped me change my life and get out of the horrendous, toxic, soul destroying, selfish and self loathing behaviour drinking was doing. I haven't touched or wanted a drop.

Ivan

Just realised it's been 2 years since my session with you. Still very much AF, doesn't interest me one bit. Best decision I made getting in contact with you, it changed my life. Thank you so much xxx

Sarah

I made it - 365 days alcohol free. I am so grateful I bumped into you on Tiktok. You saved me from the rut I was in. I am forever grateful to you for your understanding care, love and support. You are amazing!

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions answered.

What exactly happens in hypnotherapy?

In hypnotherapy, you close your eyes and we use focused attention to help you access a calm, receptive state of mind - similar to daydreaming. While you're fully aware and in control, this relaxed state allows us to work with your subconscious mind, where habits and emotional patterns are stored. Together, we reframe your relationship with alcohol, helping you let go of cravings and make lasting changes from the inside out.

Will I be asleep?

No, you will not be asleep during hypnotherapy. You are fully aware and in control of your thoughts and actions. It's a heightened state of focus and concentration, akin to being absorbed in a book, movie or driving. You will not lose consciousness or fall asleep.

Will I be made to do something I don't want?

No - never. Hypnotherapy isn’t about control; it’s about collaboration. You remain fully aware and in control throughout the session. You can’t be made to do or say anything against your will. The process simply helps you access a focused, relaxed state where positive change becomes easier and more natural - always with your full consent.

What is the success rate?

I find the more a client wants to change, the more it will work. In recent years, hypnotherapy has received a lot of praise with many celebrities turning to it for help. Research and clinical evidence suggest that hypnotherapy can be effective for many people. Ultimately, the effectiveness of hypnotherapy hinges on the individual's commitment to the process and their willingness to engage in therapeutic work.

How many sessions will I need?

I stopped drinking alcohol from one session. Now that is what I help others do. I would encourage you to try one session, and if you need more you can. You don't need lots of it. If you feel you will need more support you can work with me for a month. That will be enough.

How often should I have the sessions?

Weekly is best. But with my monthly package I will also be in touch with you daily and also send you recordings to listen to in between. Its an intensive month to start you on your journey of sobriety.
